A new partnership between the University of Wisconsin System and Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. has created a $2 million seed fund. The Ideadvance Seed Fund, announced at a Capitol press conference Thursday, will be administered by the UW-Extension “to help commercialize technology and ideas developed at UW campuses around the state.”
