In April, Case Western Reserve University visiting assistant professor Michael Goldberg launched a massive online open course (MOOC) focused on how entrepreneurship can transform communities. This course, “Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies,” uses the example of Northeast Ohio, its entrepreneurs, and its unique collaborations and partnerships as a way to illustrate how other regions can use entrepreneurship to leverage—and increase—innovation.
