The effort to reinvigorate New Jersey’s economy from the ground up by supporting entrepreneurs and start-up companies got a boost Monday with the announcement of a new business accelerator backed by a $50 million fund.
The accelerator was unveiled at the Newark headquarters of Audible, the audio book producer, whose founder, Donald Katz, is one of the main initiators of the effort, at a press conference studded with business and political heavyweights.
