THE MAJORITY REPORT: Who’s making the big bets in venture capital? A whole lot of white males. A list of 552 venture capitalists from top-flight firms, compiled by The Information and Social+Capital, found that 92% of senior teams are male—and 78% are white. Asians made up the second largest ethnic representation at 20 percent. These results, note Peter Schulz of The Information, “are way worse than the diversity breakdown at major tech companies, where 23% of leadership teams are female and 77% male.” Here's the full spreadsheet.
