The trend of incorporating “citizen scientists” in the search for data and groundbreaking ideas is expanding from the glaciers all the way to Mars. This month we’re seeing a large number of medical studies calling for crowdsourced data, and finally we can learn from ZTE’s failure to crowdsource a smartphone.
