Notre Dame women’s basketball coach Muffet McGraw is deeply loved, appreciated and respected here in South Bend not chiefly because she has ably coached her teams to two national championships but because of the principled and courageous leadership she demonstrated at a Final Four news conference Thursday in Tampa.
