According to the National Library of Medicine of the National Center for Biotechnology Information, brain-computer interfaces analyze and translate brain signals into commands or messages.
It is worth noting that the existence of brain-computer interfaces primarily seeks to help people that have been disabled by neuromuscular disorders. It includes medical neurological diseases like lateral sclerosis. It should also assist people diagnosed with spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, and stroke.
