Never underestimate the value of a good headline word, but St. Louis’ $100 million regional entrepreneurship fund isn’t really a fund, and it may never be. Regional leaders certainly want to raise money to support startups, and they want to do so on a scale that hasn’t been tried in St. Louis. The fundraising may take a couple of different forms, and some independent efforts may end up being counted toward the total.
