Get ready to start hearing the term “innovation district” a lot in Detroit, starting with a meeting Thursday of civic, business and philanthropic foundation leaders.
Flying in to attend and speak at the meeting will be Bruce Katz, director of the Washington, D.C.-based Brookings Institution’s metropolitan policy program.
