event also marked the debut of a Global CEO Survey and Index on Competitiveness in
Manufacturing. The survey, commissioned by the Council and Deloitte,
indicated that access to talented workers capable of supporting
innovation is the key factor driving global competitiveness at
manufacturing companies.
