It's impressive that this small geographic area has such wide impact to largest economy in the world. Evidence suggests that venture capital has had direct impact on the national economy in the United States by producing one fifth of the public companies and growing. No wonder so many economic indexes that measure economic productivity and competitiveness use the amount of venture capital as one of the key indicators.
