DESCRIPTION:

As an entrepreneur and private investor, you have started companies, made payroll, competed for contracts, paid taxes and have been subject to licensing and a myriad of other governmental regulations. In general, you have done most of the things that a company is supposed to do. Businesses are all about finding solutions to problems and solving them quickly. Unfortunately, government appears to see things differently. In further response to a dragging economy, Congress is expected to address additional ways to provide capital to start-up and early stage entrepreneurs who are currently deprived of the greatly needed growth capital. Several members of Congress have introduced legislation to incentivize angel investors and the U.S. Senate recently passed the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 which includes provisions for capital gains tax reductions, various depreciations and deductions, and a small business lending fund program for which entrepreneurs and investors may qualify.  But how does this help you, the entrepreneur or the investor and how does this help fuel a lagging economy?

This program will explain what programs exist, which are expected to expand but most importantly, how companies can most effectively and efficiently tap into the many programs that already exist including low interest loans, loan guarantees, tax credits, tax abatements, job training dollars and many other business benefits for which entrepreneurs, private investors and  private sector businesses may qualify.
